Im not to sure if its a high quality repo or just a real nice vintage example..
everything looks good to me, But i'm not fimilar with the maker..
Officer cords seem correct and Insignia seem OK..
Doe skin construction nice saddle shape.. Private purchase Quality.

    What do you guys Think

    Thanks

            Hi George!

IMHO it's a repro. Christian Haug was a well known cap maker during
the 3rd Reich period, but I've had a couple of his caps, and that
doesn't look like his label to me.The eagle and wreath also look
            very bogus.

              Unfortunately, yes it's a repo!

These fooled many, many people starting the the mid 80's. Very well made and with real celluloid for the diamond...too thick compared to originals but just goes to show the lengths the forgers went with these.

As Brian points out the devices are suspect too....especially the wreath.

              Dave
              Regards,
              Dave

                  Hello

                  <O></O>

I love this forum because is a source of learning and also because I had save a lot of money on fakes. I am afraid that with the poor lightning of the pictures I cannot see the faults in this cap. It would be possible George to get better pictures? I would like to avoid this “trap” in the future

                  <O></O>

                  Thanks

                  <O></O>

                  Juan
