M40 Q66 SD Luft

I have an opportunity to purchase this M40 Q66 SD luft helmet. The paint is a rough tectured nature (repaint??), minimal wear that I can detect, decal near 100%, alum liner is marked 66 with a 1940 stamp on the other side, liner is soft/supple and in excellent condition, Q66, lot #T1467 (with the 7 being very faint from the other numbers). The brown chin strap is marked LLG Baden 1940.

I have looked throughout the many archived posts and believe this one is a keeper. I would like to validate my thought process so appreciate any constructive comments from the forum members. Thanks!
