    tips on rebuilding helmet?

I have this German shell, I bought original pins and liner band for it from Kew W; originally I was going to sell it here, but got so lowballed it was cheaper to keep it, and now I've decided to fix it up.
The band is size 56; what else do I need to complete the liner, should I go with original liner or repro-what should a decent orig cost? I'm looking for suggestions and tips, I appreciate any contributions.
    Thanks

HI Kieth, Looks like a pretty decent start. You will need the inner spring band with a leather attatched. Its probably goin to be easier to just get a complete liner for it, as you hardly ever see a inner band ad leather for sale by itself. You could easily spend around $200 for an original liner. Original or repro is a matter of choice. Its hard to tell from your pictures how nice the shell is. If its beat up with little original paint, then repo is probbly a better investment. If its a nice original shell, than it may deserve an original liner. Of course you will need a strap for it as well. Its going to be a put together helmet no matter what you do to it, so you may not wat to invest too much $$ into it. It really depends on what you want, what will make you happy!
