Is it because it appears that the eagle is layered or has a raised border like some KM decals? If so,I have seen this feature on some unquestionable "Heer" ET decals as well.

Not only this feature Glenn , even if it'd seem the KM decal could also be different than the Heer
The decal shown is unique ...and with a UV light

Perhaps the owner can blacklight it....On KM decals I have seen, the eagle will remain black,with the surrounding shield glowing a yellow/green.
