Production place of the Sächsische Emaillierwerke

    Hello helmet friends,

I would like to show you the Produktionstelle of the Sächsische Emaillierwerke/Lauter.

The pictures show only the original buildings, the remainder of the Work area,
becomes today still used by the Emaillierwerk.

For this purpose i have to photograph two SE helmets. So i do they back to birth place.

Here is still the postwar history.

The entire work area/building became after the war further used and
    again new constructed and modernized.
After the war the company Schwerter Emaillierwerk called itself and
produkzierte among other things Household table-ware and steel helmets for the NVA.
Parts of the work area are used today still by the company Schwerter-Email.

    Regards, Mario

Is it possible to get permission to take pics inside the building - maybe a tour!
