Possibly, someones' attempt at a 'chamberpot'?

Eventually, ending up in the field...

Who knows with this stuff..especially (scarce) metal objects so many years after!

      Any ideas on this helmet?

I picked this up with a M-40 luft the owner had no idea what either was, I posted the luft on the uniforms.com site, and got told it was a soldier art piece, not sure about that at all, anyway also got this, not sure what it is, is it another piece of art work, or what? Really would like to narrow it down a bit! Thanks for your help!

I know that sometimes the helmet and the owner were buried together and they put protective layers on the helmet to protect it from rust. I donĀ“t know the exact materials. To preserv the helmet. I hope this is not the case..

              Hi Rui,

Any ideas are welcome but as the bronze layer was mechanicaly done when it was made that's not the answer.
              All the best Merdock
