Re-Shoot M38 FJ after paint removal

Hey guys. Have to say went through a bunch of emotions with this one. And as it turns out I am quite happy with it right now. Not quite as minty as I first thought but has a great deal of character and obviously used. In my humble opinion the liner was always with the helmet as they both have the same wear. Now Im sure the liner was played with when the "nice" luft blue paint was added that really doesnt bother me. I could go a little harder around the decal with the cleaning but dont want to push it. I wont go to far into details with the pics as I previously did in the other post. Just want to show off what I think is a nice helmet. And the sun did washout the pics a bit as it was pretty bright.

    Here ya go

Very Nice job but i still wonder if the luftwaffe blue paint MIGHT have been period applied for non combat wear or whatever reason.. Again it looks great and i m glad it all worked out for you... Billbert
