Any opinions on the SS double decal "just arrived" helmet?

I'd say , the liner looks no good;
not to mention its totally trashed but the paint job on the helmet is mint
(others can address the decals)

IMO the paint, decals, and chinstrap are all of (very) recent manufacture.

The liner looks to be a Norwegian Army reissue. But on the bright side,

the steel shell hiding underneath all of that is totally original!

Hi Personally ,I would never buy a helmet with a "look at me I must be genuine helmet stamp",None of my German helmets have helmet stamps ,admitidley they are not mint ,but I always find them suspicious ,what am I doing writing this on X Mas day???bye Robb

Ss Helmet

Sorry to say thats an absolute dud. must have been complete at most a few months ago. Having had my share of dud ss helmets over the last 15 years

Ok, I got it, Kampfhund just bought it, thats why it "just arrived" And he's trying to make a heck of a profit on his site.

I think he pulled the helmet from his site. It was there earlier, but now its gone. This helmet also made its rounds on ebay recently.

I had discussed this helmet with the site owner and both came to the conclusion it had too many bad signs. Apparently he got rid of it on ebay.

That's a poor attempt of an original SS. We'll see this one around for awhile.
