You don't need to give out $1,300 for a DD "lid". Even in pristine condition. Instead, take a look on eStand and support our own members instead of fueling the big time dealers and just inflating the prices of the helmets. You can find them at local flea/garage sales and other places for much less. So before you go to the dealer, support the small guy.

$1300 for a DD Army is a good deal if it is fair to good condition. For $1300 you can get a nice helmet. I would buy what you want and wouldn't get in a hurry. Good ones will pop up. that is what makes this hobby so fun.
