    Another purchase.

    Well,
with time on my hands, a digital camera, and blue skies (in a UK December that feels like spring today), i thought some additional posting (rather than my usual lurking) was in order today.
Actually, this purchase is a direct result of previous members time and effort in posting their superb examples of M43 enlisted caps. Without their input this cap would not be in my collection now, so a big to you all!
I'd put off buying one of these caps for years, and passed on quite a few due to lack of knowledge and fear, as along with Luft decals this used to be the item that scared me the most.
And then i saw this one. Which said "Buy me!"
    "NOW!"
    So i did .
Enough rambling, on with the pics..

          And finally, the lining.

          Hope you liked it.

Wow, Patrick...a "speaker" to say at least ! Congrats! A real combat veteran. This one is from Bill too,no?

I know that he still has one, but this was, if I'm correct, the previous one.

                Cheers

                  Patrick,

IMO, one of the best examples of a 100% hat I've seen displayed on this forum.

                      Thanks!

                      Hi all,
thanks again for the kind words, it's much appreciated. Jan, you are correct, i picked this up about two months ago (roughly)...Bills' photography on occasion is...unflattering to his items to say the least , but the correct cut and construction was evident from them nontheless. So when it arrived a few days later, and i held it in my hands, well...
But as i mentioned at the start of the post, this is now mine thanks to this forum and the information YOU gave me, so i suspect the beer is on me...

                      All the best,

                      Patrick.

Hi Patrick, this is a very nice item and one that is on my "wanted list" for next year. It is one of the very best I have seen on the forum.

                        Cheers, Ade.
