W-SS Center Cap Band Material

Hello, All -

Anyone out there versed in SS caps who can tell me if Waffen-SS visors all had the black velvet cap band, or did they also have a band made of the same material as Heer caps, only black in color?

Hi Don, officers caps, in most cases, had velvet band. NCO's and Other ranks had wool.
