I saw a luftwaffe steel helmet on a website, soo I just wanna know if there where troops (like infantry) of the luftwaffe for ground combat....

There were several divisions of luftwaffe ground troops. See forum member and moderator Jack Melvin's website for plenty of info on these guys.
