    WWII Japanese Helmet

Forgive this question related to a non-Germanic helmet.
I've been offered a WWII Japanese helmet; liner and chinstrap are preent.
The helmet has a molted green color and a star on the front. There are large Japanese characters on the inside of the helmet brim. No dents.
Any idea of a good price? I usually only collect WWI/WWII German/Axis helmets, but thought this one would be a good addition. He's asking $75.00
    Thanks

You should post pics of it in the Japanese militaria forum. That sounds pretty cheap if it is authentic. Does it have the leather liner and chinstrap intact?

On the other hand, $75 is a lot of money for a fake helmet.

not really. a fake Japanese helmet from China sells on Ebay for about $50. it's in the realm. i'd get it just to know what a fake looks like, or a real one
