    Normandy camo helmet

    Hello

    Cool M35 normandy camo helmet. Looks very nice if you ask me, but a st**** idiot removed the rivets!!!What a same!!! What about placing new old one's again?

            While the helmet may have indeed been camo'd prior to or during the
            Normandy actions, it doesn't exhibit the warm blend of colors that I
            normally associate with a Normandy camo. From the pics, though the
            camo does look good to me. It is a shame that the rivets have been
            removed. If it were mine, I just might track down a set of rivets and
            install them for the sake of aesthetics. I would make sure that the
            liner is definitely original to the shell, however. If not I would just
            leave it as a shell, which IMO look good on display by themselves.

              Brian as discussed several times before I think it has become habit in the collecting community to label any multi-colored camo a Normandy camo.


              I myself would leave it as is..

                Yes, ALL camos are "normandy camos" today.

                I like it Nick. For the right price Nick I'd buy it.

                  I admit this is a clear tendancy... Usually, a classic "Normandy camos" thread makes at least 6 pages.
                  Anyway, I like this one much too and if the former owner removed the rivets to clean the lid (I saw this z#%* behaviour more than once), I would put them in place again...
