                              Thanks Gentlemen for the comments

Gerhard Reddemann was born in Guten and joined the Hitler Youth from 1933-1937, he worked in the RAD from 10/37 until 3/38. In April of 1938, he joined the SS-Pionersturmbann “ Dresden” of the SS-VT.
The Engineer Battalion marched with the German Army into Austria, and was one of the first German units to cross the frontier into Bohemia.
During the Polish campaign of September 1939, the battalion was placed under General Walter von Reichenau’s 10th army , with which it moved into Poland from Silesia and supported an LAH Kampfgruppe.
He was wounded in September 1939 in the fighting before Warsaw and hospitalized until February 1940. He then joined the SS-Pioneer Ersatz Battalion attaining his final rank of Hauptscharfuhrer in September 1944 . Additional research continues on Reddemann and period documents will be published in the near future with his additional wartime experiences and eventual fate .
As a scientific research update, Here is an X-RAY SS ET analysis demonstrating the ability to decipher the composition elements or “fingerprint” of an SS ET decal and paint on an M40 and an M42. For security reasons, all the exact elements are not revealed in the Pie Charts.
                              Regards
                              David
