Hi Nick

I wonder why both decals are so worn and scratched and the paint is virtually 'mint'.If this is caused by wartime use, I would expect to see some wear on the paint itself too.The tricolor shield bothers me, especially the shape ( could be the picture) and the red area... Eagle is to far gone to give an opinion with that picture alone.

Liner looks okay, so does the chinstrap. I think that this one isn't so "untouched" as the seller is maybe stating.

It seem like they didn't like black.
Black area on the eagle is (almost) gone. Black part of the partyshield is (almost) gone
