First SS I've seen like that..

Jack it may be my monitor or the pics but it looks dark feldgray to me, SE's tend to have the darker color comparing the ones I've allways had..whats the maker on yours?

Alhtough very poor in quality and small, I found this little picture some time back on the net...It's a flak-member for sure, not a "hilfer". Probably a darker blue pre-war color but it looks like a black M35, no?Seeing the color of the tunic, I don't think that this one would help alot

Perry, to tell you the truth, I can't tell. It looked like a very dark feldgrau at first when I saw it as well. It is a late hkp manufacture.
