Here's a helmet that belongs to a friend imo it's fake he's not to happy on my comments and is asking for 2nd oppinions.what do you guy's think

it was possibly a nice helmet before.

Hi Merdock, I would agree with you and Billy. Completely bogus wear patterns that look like they were done with sandpaper/wirewool.

The wear does not scream "60 years" to me - rather "A very few years"... The eagle - the head looks like a dog's! Well, may be just the wear And the 3-colour decal - I think I do dislike it. Look that thick white base and the thin, tiny paint ontop of it, worn from someone rubbing/sanding it... I have not seen a real decal looking like this and showing age like this. Not an expert in these, can only base it on things I've seen - and I've not seen a good decal looking this way...
