Dear companions make please at least one comment. It would cheer me up. I have also other helmets with paint. But I cannot understand has their sense to show, or not.

I would consider this helmet a relic helmet for sure! The liner and strap don't match the condition of the helmet. The helmet appears to be a ground doug helmet. I would expect a different looking linet and strap from a ground doug.

My thoughts are that this might have been dug up of the ground within 20 years after the war, or it might have been found and then placed in an outhouse with bad conditions. Either way, a nice relic imo

I agree with the above concidering the strap...
I think this has more the rust pattern of a waterfound helmet.

Friends that the helmet is dug out is the fact. In the same way, as well as strap and a skin are established later. A question in other. What about a camouflage and a paint of the owner?

It second camouflaged helmet. They were found alongside from each other. Both were in Nevel. Probably soldiers were comrades in arms.
A camouflage has a great number of layers. Tracks of winter camouflage are well visible. In the layers of paint moss and shallow sprigs is added with sand. A helmet was not touched. He looks practically the same as in that moment when he was dug up.
