    Thought you guys might enjoy these M1's I know they are not german but they were there. The first from left to right is from a chief boatswainsmate on LCI 92 that was shelled on d day and destroyed killing about 20 G.I s. The middle one is from the 6th naval beach battalion at d day and the last is a captain in the eto with a leadership stripe on the reverse. Enjoy!

          Great helmets. I find the M1 the most attractive of all WWII helmet designs.

            I've been working on finding quality examples of some of the helmets used on the Western Front in 1940. From left to right: Danish M23, Belgian M26, French M26 and Dutch M23-27.
