Rolf,
A minty Heer DD M35 will fetch $2500 if not more irregardless of source. If it slides into that higher echelon category it is one of only a few pieces that exist and as such is much sought after. Not too many minty ones about! By minty I mean both decals 99.9%, paint 95%, liner only lightly used, supple leather in liner and chin strap. Markings, names & dates also contribute to increasing a price.
An above average Heer would sell on a dealers site for around $2300 but if you look hard enough you will pick one up $400 - $500 below this (picked up from a reputable source that is!). Their is more leeway in this category as the definition of above average is not as easily tied down.
Lufts traditionally have been much cheaper than their Heer counterparts, sometimes as much as 30%-50% less.
