winter white wash question

it is not really wash but real paint, which makes me wonder. or is probably hard to tell from these pictures, but that's all I have, lo let's have a try. It is a M 35 with obviously correct reinforced Alu-liner

Everything else offered by the seller looks fine, so why not also this helmet. But of course, these are tricky, as was shown in earlier threads.

In my opinion it appears someone has ruined a good M35. Camo paint is applied over scracted/damaged areas, no wear to rivets, crown, bill etc. etc. & no discolouration of original tone!

Seller does not accept a inspection period or buyers policy (in germany "Treuhand"). Item is sold as it is and sale is final. If i offer an original ww2 helmet i offer a return policy and inspection period. You buy only one helmet without return policy on ebay and keep next time away from "all original" helmets without this offer.

I agree with Billy...that is not the look I would expect either, after period wear and 60 years of aging...
