Splinter Pattern Camo Helmets at the SOS

Did anyone see the two nearly matching splinter pattern camo coastal artillery helmets, at the SOS? I was dying for them but the price was out of my range.

He would only sell them as a pair...

One of these days I am going to the SOS in a Loomis armoured truck.

Here's one of the two. I know these are both posted on the helmet forum....somewhere. RonR--I borrowed your picture but didn't think you'd mind.

Price was under $10K for the set.

$11,000.00 for the pair. I only wanted the one without the bullet hole.

                    Bob,

I think the price for the set was dropping as the show progressed. The last price I heard was under $10K. Still a chunk of change.

                    Best,

                    Larry

$11.000.00 for the set? This must be an early April fools joke. Maybe 1,100.00 a piece. One has a bullet hole in it. Neither one does anything for me. Junk.

                          10k does seem rather high.

                            Wishful thinking

These are interesting and nice helmets, but not worth more than $2K a piece in my opinion. Even as a set. I wouldn't pay more than half that, but I am a notorious cheapskate

well if I remember that threat correct, both helmet have the same camo structure, both have a tan colours rim and named in exact the same name...
both had the decals ( partly visable ) and one has had a bullet hole in deed.
well, 11k is a lot of money.... but how often do you find 2 exact simular helmets.
I agree with Doug that 10k or ever 9k was more reaslistic but wasn't the 11k the sellers asking price ?
