    Hi Brian, thanks for posting the cap. I have never seen an SS NCO's M37 cap fitted with a chinstrap before? Could you add some more pics please?

      Don't worry Chris, all the smoke has cleared and it's safely under my wing
      once again. If you think they should be together, go ahead and send him
      over.

      You're right Ade. It's rare - probably a personal affectation more than
      anything. The same with the Vienna badge and the edelwiess too - totally
      unofficial. I do have pics here in a book about the Liebstandarte that shows
      a couple of NCO's wearing M37 with chinstraps, though.

              I'm definitely and totally in love...

              Here's a pic that illustrates the chinstrap on such a NCO cap. At least if I'm not wrong about the model Ade, visors are not really my field...
