    White Top Interior

I am starting to see a good number of Luftwaffe white tops pop up with this interior. Can I get some opinions on it? I will say that I am not really comfortable with the sweatshield. But, maybe others will disagree.

Jos., it reads in three lines: Karl Kunzi
      Herrenarlikel
      Ossweil

Here it is as it appears in another white top:

Hi Jack, the makers is not listed in Gary Wilkins book. I know that Gary's list is not complete, but it is a start.
The sweatsheild looks very shiny. I would worry if I saw a lot of these too, often a bad sign.
        Cheers, Ade.

          Hi Jack,
What makes you feel it's wrong ?
Just the sweatshield..or the name...other things..?

I can't say for I don't have seen the whole visor in and out..

          For what I see it's a privat one..,bought in a shop then..
It might be a few were still in stock somewhere ,if it's a real one..
Ofcourse the chance is bigger they're fake when they keep coming..

It's hard to tell without any other pics..
In general one can tell if fake or not but it needs good detailed pics and the white top has to be removed for inspection..
Maker can be real ,there were many shops ,so it's quite difficult to find out..
I've a original one that is made in Wien...Austria..,grey silk lining and a very stiff white sweatband that's sewed in with very thin thread..in front between the cap and band there's a red/orange sponge like rubberpad glued to the cap.
On top of the lining ,when the white top is removed, there's a thin layer of cotton-wool..,top is of the waffled type with 2 holes for the eagle..
It's very nicely made...,many other variations exist...
Not easy to tell at the moment..

          Jos.
