Not bought, but this decal is present on a Luftwaffe fireman helmet.

its a very shody application,the decal appears to have been place over paint loss with no damage to the decal itself.can you post a clear face on shot of the decal to give a better perspective

the decal may be bad but an M40 fireman's helmet is quite rare, especially a nice one like this all complete. usually fireman's are M34s. if the price is right i'd grab it for rarity's sake.

oops! you are absolutely correct. no wonder i thought it was rare for an M40 to be used as a fireman's. but post war that's pretty much the only model that was being used for all branches... bad decal, bad helmet.
