WH helmet cover

Hi guys
i just picked it up today, and i thought to put here for share with you only a logical discussion! Before to say it is a fake, ( but it doesn't IMO) please see very well these pics. Have you ever seen a cover ike this one? Personally this is the second one for me! It is outlined like an helmet, and the white part is in a sort of cloth waxed The first one i seen was exactly same, was found on a stone mint WH helmet M40 and i had reason to belive that was good, as the source was sure to 100%, now i found this one! So any idea? i can be also wrong of course, but i have a good feeling on it.

Hello,

For me this is nothing more but a cut-up zeltbahn.
Too clean for a field-made one, and wrong construction method and materials for a factory produced version.

I have a field-made version in my possesions, of which I am fairly sure that it is an original example, but even though I picked it up myself at a local flea market, I still can't vouch for it being absolutely original. I'm just saying that these so-called field-made examples are realy hard to authenticate, as a lot of them were made post war from cut-up zeltbahns....
