I've owned one of these with the original visor inside. Mine was a little different but closely resembled yours...
It contained a minty Luft. Officers visor. I purchased it from the veteran that brought it back. On the top under the leather handle it had his ship home label affixed, he sent it back home to his Dad. It was this box that kept the visor in minty condition all these years.
These boxes were private purchase and fit a visor like a glove....missing from most visor collections.
I still have a pic of the visor, I'll try and see if I can locate one of the box and visor together, I cant remember if I kept one pic of the two together..
