Marty asked me recently about the makers on the size 70 helmets/shells I have owned and the breakdown is as follows:
M35 army ET70
M40 shell ET70
M42 Police ckl70
M42 No Decal ckl70
I have spoke with a few others who have owned the 70 shell and they are either marked ET or ckl. Would it be safe to assume that the Eisenhutte Thule plant was the only one set up to make the larger size?
and yes, I have a thing for the big buckets......
