    My first helmet

    Hi all,

Well I held out for one that fit my criteria and my patience really paid off. Here is my first helmet, a Heer M35 DD in really great shape. Aluminum liner band is marked although I couldn't get a shot of it. All other marks show in the pictures. Many thanks go out to fellow forum member William Matchett for the acquisition of this great piece.

                            Impossible to improve!

Congrats John, impossible to improve on this one! Patience is a virtue, expecially in collecting. Sadly, am unable to heed my own advice most of the time.
Just love those M35's. Yours is a most wonderful example. -- Atta' Boy!
