Finally a very classical helmet... Obviously, Rick knows how to maintain suspense !

I think the lack of interest for these - great looking IMO - helmets is firstly the fact that they're "fire brigade" lids, secondly that the wearers were not always very exiting... Or if they were, it's for very different reasons (below) .
The usual reaction I get on mine from friend collectors is "Why are you keeping this one ? Sell it and buy a true combat helmet with the money". The "hog philosophy" is based on heart, and that's obviously beyond their understanding.

And the same lack of interest also affects the M.34 lightweight SS (SD) helmets : where a M35-40-42 would sell in a second, they stay offered for months...
