    Yes, I would say he is crossing the line...if in fact he is the one that did all of that type of stuff. (dust, any rust, leather rot etc. etc.) But maybe the seller added his own touches to the piece, I do not know. All of this aside, it would be good for all of us if they marked their pieces in a noticable spot, perhaps inside in the dome area with their PERMANENT mark or embossing in the steel that reads "REPRO" or something to that effect, then they could do any kind of patina or aging that they please, and nobody would get burned, intentionally or unitentionally.
