          Hi I will try to start new thread about military archeolgy daily shots , here the pictures of almost all helmets I have picture was taken about week ago and some of helmets are already sold few days ago....

            an amazing collection you have there...you even found an MP 40!! thanks for posting these pics. Have you ever found any SS hellmets or Paratrooper?? What about daggers??

              Battle Damaged. But of course it could have been buried in a grave site as well.

                It's a Pity but there is almost none paratroopers helmets in Latvia , I have talked with old diggers which digging for 30 years , I have heard a lot of digger stories but the finding paratrooper helmet was only three times.... I have found several SS helmets , during war there was four divisions of waffen SS in Latvia two of them Nederland and Nordland was evacuated till end of the war , and others Latvians SS divisions 19 and half of 15 was stayed in kurland pocket till capitulation... half of 15 SS divisions was in Berlin at may 45.... SS items rare but possible finds for our regions ....

                  Hi Stephan please take a look at WWII photos which shows old graves almost all of them a showed crosses and helmets are on them not buried in grave!!!
