Its seems to me that the pics on german militaria got darker every time I visit that site... could be because I'm getting older or my monitor is getting worse but I'm not gonna buy any item from these poor and dark pics
helmet could be good but I do not see any camouflage from these pics to behonest

Not your eyes nor your screen: pics are getting darker for a while, you're right.

I think Peter is talking about camo each time it's no more the factory issued paint, as in this case.

take a good look at the national tri colours, the black and red have been touched up with brush on paint, STEVIE WONDER COULD SEE THAT ONE.
id stay away from junk like that,you would never be able to sell it in the future.

This is actually mentioned in the description of the helmet.

It almost looks to me that the eagle has been cleaned,rubbed at or perhaps even dug out from under the overpaint.

the tri-color looks touched up. like too much was rubbed out when uncovering it and then added back by hand, sloppily. if there is such a word...
