Hungarian M17 helmet

Hi guys, today got something interesting! I think this helmet is usualy called Hungarian M17. A nice lid!

Interesting system for attaching the liner - can someone show a complete liner, to see what it looks loke?

Tough Hungarian helmet to find.

Paint does appear to be post war Bulgarian. I believe the original paint was more of a brown finish... IMO

I don't remember any markings.

Mine may of had some numbers stamped (top of dome?).... but... no lettering.

Mine had the original paint, along with the metal liner band... and very poor canvas chinstraps.

A guy in Italy gave me $800 bucks for it. So... these do sell for good money.

Is it just me... or are all the steel WWI German helmets heading for Italy??
