thanks for your help everyone.i ll tell the buyer what i found out and offer him 150-200$ as it looks like a good copy that i could use with my repro ss outfit when i go camping...thanks for everyones help and expertise in this matter it is truley appreciated!!!as said this forum is a great place to learn which is only possible from the excellent expert members that are willing to share their knowledge...i know the best chance of me getting an og ss helmet in my price range would be the single decal m42...does anyone know a rough market value for such a helmet in REASONABLE,not perfect condition today??as long as its not messed with??and what site are they most likley to turn up on??thanks again and best regards from Au Andreas

I think that (in the last photos), due to the power of augmentation used, all SS decals regardless of genuine or not, will display that glassy and reflective tone. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I have seen pictures of augmented genuine SS decals showing this type shiny appearance in other forums.
