Winter camo helmet, original??? Help.

Hello, this helmet is a Q60 and I think that it is original.

But, is the winter camo original?

Shell appears to be a good Q shell in a rare size 60. Its been put into service as a Civic style / Luftshutz helmet. Rejected for combat service, thats why its got the extra crimp in it. Could have been used late in the war by the Volksturm. I am not sure on the camo from those pictures. Looks like someone went digging for a Luftshutz decal on the front of the helmet.

I don't get the warm and fuzzies on the cammo either, but why would someone fake a luftschutz....

'cause they didn't want to ruin a good Wehr or Luft no decal to try their obvious experiment. Or, they could'nt aford a better helmet.
