I need your opinion on this one. The seller wants 3,100 USD.
NS 64, E145. The owener "V.Nuis"
The chinstrap is 1941 with manufacturers's stamp.

Are all parts of this helmet original? Is the price justifide?

Hi,

Welcome to WAF!!!!! although im fairly new as well but good to see more and more people. Anyways with regards to the helmet, personaly I would save my money on that. I think the liner is replaced, its not what one would see in an M35 Helmet. If you get to a point were you think someone has messed with an item, then you better of leave it, because it may supprise you in a negative way in the future.

But in seller's discription: The liner is original early type. Size 56
Any more opinions?

Liner looks replaced, ( I see a steel banded liner instead of an early alu liner )
Decals posible reaplied on a reissue
Chinstrap looks fake from these pics

I would say a waste of time and money from these pics !

Anyway, I need to give this lid a chance!
Here are close up pics of the liner and the chinstrap.

Blackadder, where do you see the stil banded liner?
If it is a reissue, why was the flag left untouched? Not painted over?

Nobody else comented on the decal and the helmet itself.
