My Luftwaffe M40 Q62

Hi Everyone!

This is my first post here, I mainly wanted to share my Luftwaffe M40 with the forum and receive some feedback on it. I picked this up roughly around '02 from an estate sale. This is the only German helmet I have ( though I have other German militaria). I have had it in my collection for some time but have never had it looked at by another collector or antiques specialist. So I thought I would post some pics and see what everyone thinks about it. Any comments on it's quality/authenticity are welcome!

So, I am considering selling this helmet due to my current financial situation (Yay recession). However, I am completely unsure as to what kind of price range I should ask for in order to sell it. Any advice/ recommendations on how to do this? Also, should I try listing it in forum auctions rather than on ebay,etc?

Sorry to bump this, but I am looking for some advice from experienced forum members on possibly selling this helmet. Im really unsure of what an honest asking price for the helmet is. Is ebay a legitimate way to sell, or would I be in danger of being ripped off.
