Is the 6-hundred-meters-shelves-man speaking of me ? What ? You, leave my avatar alone !
I made it myself with my lil' fingers, took me a lot of time !!!
If you promise to be a nice boy and not a jealous pest, perhaps I'll make one for you, far better that the one you have at the moment, OK ? Wanna WSS lil' helmet ?

Well, I admit I had some luck with KM helmets recently, and with WSS M42s too. But I still miss a WSS M.40, and despite my generous trade offers, no WSS hog was able to part with one of his numerous lids (follow my eyes)...

PS : Den, there's a very honest one on the e-stand by now... I actually have 4 KMs, and if Ty promises not to be my forum-twin-brother any more, I'll show you the last one (a very very recent pickup).

I was just working on it...
OK, here it is. It's a coastal arty that was at the origin found in Brest (Britanny) ; the camo is a mix of thick sawdusted brown paint applied over tan brushed stripes.

OK, I promise the next one I get will be for one of you (except if it's a DD M.35 ).

That's a very nice one Chris! Nice camo!

Is this one named? And is there a story with this one?

Rich : sorry, no other pic for the moment ; the camera I used worked so well that I was obliged to rework the pic (contrast and brightness) to make it more or less acceptable...

Nick : I took this little freedom as I tought your thread already gave you all the answers you requested. But if it wasn't the case, I'm sorry and well, let us know : maybe a moderator will make a new thread with the end of this one : I will then put in it the other pics to come without any remorse...
                      Rich ?
About your question, I answered to you some time ago, but had no reply ; if you still want to sort something out it's possible, you know my e-mail address...

Den : yes, it's named on the leather to H. Bolchmann ; three letters stand under the name, it seems to be MIR (surerely for Marine Infanterie Regiment IMO), but no number visible before of after this.
No other story than what I said above ; Brest was the first military harbor of Bretagne and was of course heavilly defended by coastal artillery units. Nothing else to say, as unfortunately no unit number is visible on the liner ; or yes, something more : I've been drooling on this one for a long time, and believe me, it wasn't a piece of cake to get it !

I was joking. Like you most of the times.
Well I a little (heavy) out of money atm.
                          Maybe some time later.
I still like you, these guys like, Chris, Ty, Perry, and many more keep this hobby alive.

No Den, it was a hard and long trade. But I was following this one since it came out from the woodwork...
