M35 d/d repainted helmet

Hi

Just saw this one, a m35 D/D helmet that was repainted (reissued)during the war. The 2 decals can clearly be seen under the paint. And I think that the eagle color looks like a KM if I'm not mistaken. Liner is named. What do you think? And what is the going value of a M35 (KM) repained (reissued) helmet?

That's a nice one you found there! I realy like this helmet! Real nice original not messed with helmet!

I'm not sure if it is a KM helmet. The decal looks more like a Heer to me. Little spots of the right wing, where there are little pieces of paint gone, show not the gold that I want to see on a KM decal.

For your question; I think the price is somewhere between $700-$900.

I would rate the value a little lower as it's not a good example although original....I'd go no more than $525-$575 tops....
It's possible for a M35DD reisue to reach $1000 but not a example like this.....

$900 for a lid with almost no decal visible !? Well Den, I'm afraid that with such assertions, I understand the prices satellisations...

Personally I don't think I would pay more than $500 for such a helmet. I do think they are nice helmets though

Maybe the price I said was a little bit high ( a little bit too high )

I was looking at Bill Shea his site, to look what these helmets are worth on the market. But ( stupid me ) I didn't read it well. I was looking at the price of a Named Model 1935 "Double Decal" Army Reissue Combat Helmet and this one was $690.

And well I thought KM is a little more expensive then a Heer helmet

I now looked at prices of Reissue helmets, and looking at those prices, and the condition of your helmet and those ones, I also think the price is between $450 - $550.
I'm still learning what the priceranges are for a helmet

But a KM helmet is more expensive then a Heer helmet if they are in the same condition am I right?
