First helmet pictures

I just acquired this helmet. It was stored for many years in a large tin can along with some other relics.
I'm a new collector so any input or observations would be appreciated.

Bryant is there sawdust mixed into the paint? Man I'd like to inspect that one..looks to be a high end camo there...

Yes, I do believe there is sawdust mixed in. It's got a very rough texture. I'll post a better pic of the decal soon.

Well done. Looks like a three color camo, If a KM - likely coastal artillary. really a nice one. Do not ever alter it, or clean it, it is perfect just as you found it.
