I could have sworn this helmet was recently being sold by the guy who admits his helmets are convincing looking, but faked....the "I believe honesty is the best policy guy".

The world famous " past world antique" or " how I screw people every weeks with my piles of crap faked , up the wazoo , helmets".
I must say , he his getting a little better on the outside , same crap on the inside.
Still on Ebay , despite being reported all the time.

A COA is worth as much as the person giving it.

IMO, most COAs should be printed on Kleenex : no need to look for one when you eventually find out what your item is really worth...

Faked concentration camp uniform. The patch on the chest says Buchenwald and the paper work (which I am assuming he is calling this a lot attributed to one person...) says Auschwitz...

The uniform looks to be a screwed with WW2 German hospital (lazaret) tunic...Happens a lot , not sure if the doc is a repro though.

One of pastworldantiques helmets was posted up on "his" board a while back for comment. Admin there commented (and I paraphrase) "Anyone that shops at ebay deserves to get screwed" Believe me, the doc is fake.

Actually for him to have a functioning militaria board is a great study in human nature. He is a student of it.

The dealer is a known convicted crook. Roger Honts. Stories about his nefarious activities and conviction in the Kansas City Newspaper. I wouldn't do business with this dealer if you held a gun on me and gave me the money to buy with. Worst kind of bottom feeder.

I saw it in a newspaper :

I guess some can't even see with their eyes open. Yet some of those members come on the other boards looking for crooks. It's a strange world
