M-42 EF Helmet Decal KM?

I just picked up this untouched helmet at a local auction today. I am quite convinced that it is Kriegsmarine, but want to hear what everyone else has to say. The shell stamping is a bit weak, but it looks like an EF 64. I am sure that some of you KM helmet experts will immediately recognize this decal if it is in fact Navy. All opinions are welcome.
