Well, dunno when the auction ends, but if I were what eBan calls "a potential buyer", from the pics provided I wouldn't be too bothered to pass this one.
Just my opinion of course, for what it is worth... Whatever, I hope that we'll soon have here the proof that my (too many) worries were unfounded.
PS : nope, I won't bid on it !Last edited by Edelweiss; 12-04-2007, 07:21 PM.

Without asking, a better picture of the decal was in my inbox this morning & it's an N64, well he's a helpful seller! Have asked for chinstrap photos too.

Hello,
Liner seems good to me,
Original paint
But obvious a bad chinstrap.
Do you have a detailed picture of the decal?
Look so new on the other pictures but will review my oppinion if neccesairy
after a clear picture of the decal.

the chinstrap is a very bad reproduction. The liner seems to be ok but it's difficult to give you a statement about the decal from these photos.
For my part, I would bid on it but I would not take a to important risk. If you can pay this the price for a no decal helmet, it will be ok.
regards,
Fred

Thankyou friends
Well, we're back to where we started, good helmet, good liner, bad chinstrap & string.
As for the decal, well this has caused much disagreement. I do not think with his camera he will get better pictures than the ones he has already given.
How much would a helmet without decal & chinstrap cost?
Thanks, Ant.
