M40 SD Heer

This is another helmet I am maybe going to buy. It is an M40 SD helmet.
The liner and chinstrap looks ok to me. There are 2 names on the helmet. The markings are ET64 & 303.

What do you think about the decal? Sorry I don't have a closer picture of the decal!

Nice lid, except for the scraped decal ( which has been definetly done postwar). What is the asking price for it?

The helmet is "entnazifiziert" after the war.

It's on Ebay; the price now is €152, but I think it will end a little bit higher. Round €200 - €300.

The decal looks original doesn't it?

Decal is OK, just postwar denazified as Jan (and Den, who types faster than me) said ; unfortunately as (too) often...
And even on camo (!) DD M.35s...

Den, that's really your collecting tastes..
Each collector has his own criteria as to what's in his collection. Me no, but then I usually don't keep any SD Luft. or Heer helmets, let alone denazified.
Not to say there wasn't a time in my collecting that I wouldn't be thrilled to have a Heer SD..
