    Helmet Help (I)

Here is a nice size 62 I believe? This (nor any of the following helmets I will ask about) are in my collection. They are in a friend of mine's collection who has asked me to sell his items. Here are some of the best photos I can get. I am not a helmet guy though, so I will be needing your help.

I think this is an authentic one. I see a lot of maker marks on the liner as well as the shell itself. The shell says "EE62" (size I believe?) and then below it "3924"

Anyway I'll let the photos do the talking. He wants them all to be sold on e-bay to get the most money, but I'll try to talk him into letting WAFers get first pick. It's the least I could do for this community. What do you think this is worth?

    Thanks
    Mansal ( line_of_fire55-md@yahoo.com )

                  Thanks,

That's a nice EF62 M42, That should start at $450. Nice honest helmet.

I agree with Ty on the starting price. I recently upgraded and sold my old one and got close to this price. Mine, however, didn't have a drawstring or chinstrap.

NOTE: I think we should note the serial number as it will probably end up with a decal of sorts on it at some point. Sad but true!

                      Best,

                      Larry

Well I might want to sell to keep it to good WAF members instead of eBay where, like you say, it might get a decal slapped on.

This is not even my sale, so no I'm not trying to beat the WAF rules or anything.
