Gut reaction to this decal?

It doesn't seems very honest to me, but I would have been happy to have a better view of the head. As it's all you have...
My concerns are about the upper round feathers, let's see what the others think.

When you say the upper round feathers do you mean those that spead out to each side horizontally to the wing? They look curved to me instead of straight edged... that wouldn't be a good sign, would it?

Really you can't be sure with such a blurry decal pic.
I'm not sure as detail is lacking but I see nothing wrong thus far..

Yes, Rich, these ones. I don't say it's bad (hard to say with such a pic), but a bit too close - even if of a better quality - to the following one. Just too close to my taste. Perry ?

Let's try some technology on the pic I posted...

If the lines feathers we're talking about has straight lines... woould you say in a blurry pic like this they would still look straight? I'muse the downswept winds and the edges of the swaz as examples...

But a curved line would look indistinct?

What do you think?

Yes, this is what I meant... the lines are curved and this is why they are indistinct in the original photo.

Great picture work though!

I just love helmet collecting...so many factors!
