SD helmet for review

Hello, which are your opinion about this decal? I have not photo of the liner. The decal is original or fake "aged"?

In my opinion the decal condition does not match the overall condition. Also there appears to be some kind of oily glaze all over the outside of the helmet. Doesn't look like normal aging to me. Just my opinion. Regards, Ron.

Hello Ron, yes I agree, I don't see normal this oxidation (only on decal not on the shell). I have bad vibrations on this helmet.

I agree it looks like it has started to turn brown with age and being left in damp conditions .Rob

I think the helmet is fine, but has deteriorated from poor storage. As Ron pointed out, it looks like it has been treated with something (oil, WD40, etc) to minimize the rust/oxydation to the surface. But the decal (or what is left of it) appears original to me.

The decal may be good but to me it looks like it has been rubbed with an abrasive such as steel wool. Ron.
