Researching named helmet / what is Luftgaunachr. Rgt.4

Hello everyone
I recently aquired a very nice M35 Luft. DD helmet with a cloth tag in it.It reads:

Roft, Kurt
1.\Luftgaunachr.-Rgt.4

Ive tried the graves reg. site but am having trouble with the language thing even with the translator pogram. Can anyone with experience help me out with this?Can I find info on his unit, and what type of unit was a Luftgaunachr?
If info on the helmet helps, I think its an early M35 with a snakeleg type decal, ET66, liner dated 1938. The helmet shows no sign of combat at all.

The unit in question is 1st Kompanie Air Sector Signals Regiment 4. They were stationed in Nordhausen. That is the limit of my knowledge. We have a very good order of battle research forum. Please pose your questions there about this unit. You may get more info
